Assistant Teacher

Golden English Course is an educational institution focused on developing English skills with an outcome-based and career readiness approach. We are currently looking for an energetic and nurturing professional to join our team.

Location: On-site at Golden English Course, Jatibening, Bekasi City

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a fun, positive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Build a friendly and supportive relationship with students.
• Encourage students to participate, communicate, and feel comfortable in the classroom.
• Lead ice breaking, fun games, and engaging activities based on the class needs.
• Help maintain students' focus and engagement throughout the session.
• Support smooth transitions between activities and keep the classroom dynamic.
• Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to help students enjoy their learning experience.
• Work closely with the main Teacher and Academic team to support a positive classroom experience.
• Adapt to different student personalities, age groups, and classroom situations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Good command of English, both spoken and written, minimum B1/B2.
• Friendly, energetic, patient, and comfortable interacting with students.
• Enjoy working with children and/or young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to create a fun and welcoming classroom environment.
• Comfortable working onsite and moving between classes when needed.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working with Children or Preschool students.
• Experience as a teaching assistant, tutor, mentor, camp counselor, or similar role.
• Experience facilitating games, activities, or student programs.
• Basic understanding of classroom management.
• Experience working in an education or English-course environment.
