Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, group, and leisure segments.
- Conduct market research to uncover potential clients and emerging trends.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
- Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Manage assigned client accounts to ensure high retention rates.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents and event planners.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and customize proposals accordingly.
- Assist in developing annual sales plans, budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain the sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi, Opera).
- Prepare proposals, contracts and RFP (Request for Proposal) responses.
- Track and report on sales activities, leads and conversions.
- Negotiate rates, terms and contracts to secure bookings.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to close high-value deals.
- Ensure profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Handle client objections and resolve issues professionally.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, promotions and trade shows.
- Liaise with operations teams (e.g., housekeeping, F&B, events) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in team meetings, training and professional development programs.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies and industry trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies.
