About the role
Xingle Mandarin is looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Mandarin Teacher to support our teaching team in Serpong, Banten.
This role focuses on assisting lead teachers in delivering high-quality Mandarin classes for children (preschool to primary level), while also developing the skills needed to grow into a full teacher role.
As an Assistant Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting classroom flow, student engagement, and learning progress, while learning directly from experienced teachers in a structured teaching environment.
This is a full-time position, ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and want to build a long-term career in education.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting lead teachers in delivering fun, interactive, and structured Mandarin lessons
- Supporting classroom activities including games, storytelling, and student engagement
- Helping manage classroom dynamics to ensure a positive, safe, and focused learning environment
- Providing individual support to students who need additional guidance during class
- Assisting in preparing teaching materials, worksheets, and class resources
- Supporting student progress tracking and basic reporting
- Collaborating with teachers and academic coordinators to improve lesson execution
What we're looking for
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin, Chinese Studies, Education, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Mandarin, both spoken and written
- Strong willingness to learn teaching methods and classroom management
- Patient, responsible, and enjoys working with children
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to continuously learn, improve, and grow as an educator
Highly Desirable:
- Experience teaching children, especially preschool and primary school students
- Familiarity with early childhood or primary education methods
- Ability to manage children with different learning speeds and personalities
- Interest in becoming a professional Mandarin teacher
