Assistant Manager Finance Accounting & Tax

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions, including monthly and annual financial reporting, in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
2. Manage the company's cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth and operational efficiency.
3. Prepare financial analyses and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
4. Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of all tax obligations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding taxes, in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
5. Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
6. Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets, ensure data integrity, and minimize financial risks.
7. Monitor budget utilization, evaluate financial performance, and recommend cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
8. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities during audits, inspections, and statutory reporting.
9. Supervise, coach, and develop the Finance, Accounting, and Tax team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high performance standards.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
11. Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes, accounting systems, and internal procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business operations and provide financial insights for organizational decision-making.
13. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
2. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and taxation.
4. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.
5. Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Withholding Taxes (Articles 21, 23, 26, and 4(2)).
6. Experience in handling tax audits, financial audits, and coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experienced in using ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Accurate).
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
11. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
12. Brevet A & B certification is preferred; Brevet C will be an advantage.
13. Proficient in both written and spoken English.
