The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the Human Resources Manager in planning, coordinating and overseeing all Human Resources functions to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations. The role assists in managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, industrial relations and HR administration while promoting employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture. The Assistant HR Manager also acts as the HR Manager's representative in their absence and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Human Resources Manager in managing daily HR operations.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are consistently implemented.
- Monitor HR service quality and recommend process improvements.
- Oversee recruitment activities from manpower requisition to onboarding.
- Coordinate with Department Heads regarding workforce planning and staffing requirements.
- Review candidate qualifications and participate in interviews for supervisory and managerial positions.
- Maintain positive employee relations by providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Investigate employee grievances, disciplinary cases and workplace conflicts.
- Assist in conducting disciplinary meetings and preparing warning letters or other employment-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company regulations and Indonesian labor laws.
- Coordinate the annual and probationary performance appraisal process.
- Support Department Heads in setting KPIs and evaluating employee performance.
- Assist in developing the annual training calendar and budget.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with department heads.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Assist in reviewing salary structures, employee benefits and compensation practices.
- Coordinate payroll preparation by ensuring attendance, overtime, leave and other payroll data are accurate.
- Monitor BPJS, insurance and employee benefit administration.
- Support salary benchmarking and compensation analysis.
- Ensure employee records, contracts and HR documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, labor regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, celebrations and CSR initiatives.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Encourage a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
