About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Primary Art Teacher to join our dynamic school community at West Jakarta.

As Primary Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and enriching art education to our primary school students, helping to nurture their creativity and artistic talents.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative team of educators dedicated to providing an exceptional learning environment for our students.

What you'll be doing:

Designing and delivering engaging art lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and interests of primary school students

Developing and implementing innovative lesson plans

Fostering students' creativity, imagination, and artistic expression through a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and more

Encouraging students to explore their artistic talents and build confidence in their abilities

Participating in school events, exhibitions, and community outreach activities to showcase student artwork

Collaborating with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to art education

Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Strong knowledge of various art media, techniques, and curriculum development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues

Proven ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Passion for nurturing creativity and inspiring students to explore their artistic potential

Adaptability and a willingness to collaborate with a team of educators

Proficiency in Indonesian and English (both spoken and written)
