We are looking for an Art Director with exceptional artistic sense, strong visual judgment, and hands-on craft.
For us, being an Art Director is not just about making things look good. You need to understand why a visual works, be able to build a distinctive visual direction, and have the craft to bring ideas to life.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop visual directions for brands, campaigns, and creative projects.
- Translate creative concepts and strategy into strong, distinctive visual worlds.
- Direct designers and other creative talents while maintaining a high standard of craft.
- Develop key visuals, visual explorations, illustrations, and campaign assets.
- Work closely with Creative Director, Strategy, Content, and Account teams.
- Explore and integrate AI into the creative process, from ideation and visual exploration to production.
- Maintain visual consistency while continuously pushing the quality of the agency's creative output.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional artistic and visual sense — composition, typography, color, imagery, storytelling, and overall taste.
- Strong drawing fundamentals are mandatory, both manual and digital.
- Strong illustration skills and ability to develop visuals from an original sketch or idea.
- Strong conceptual thinking — not just execution.
- Able to create and defend a clear art direction, not simply follow references.
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and relevant creative tools.
- Strong understanding of contemporary design, art, culture, advertising, and visual trends.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong craft, originality, and range of visual styles.
AI Capability — Required
We are looking for someone who genuinely understands AI-assisted creative production, not someone who only knows basic prompting.
You should be able to:
- Use AI as part of an actual creative workflow, not just generate random images.
- Develop and refine visual concepts through structured prompting and iteration.
- Maintain consistency in character, style, composition, and art direction across outputs.
- Combine AI-generated assets with traditional design, illustration, retouching, and compositing.
- Understand when AI should be used — and when traditional craft will produce a better result.
- Demonstrate AI-assisted work in your portfolio and explain the process behind it.
Big Plus :
- Motion design / animation capability.
- Photography or video art direction experience.
- 3D or CGI knowledge.
- Experience directing photoshoots or commercial productions.
- Strong personal illustration or art portfolio.
