We are looking for an experienced, highly connected, and results-driven Area/Channel Sales Manager to expand our merchant acquiring business through strategic sales channels and business partnerships. The sales manager will identify, develop, and manage high-quality sales channels that can efficiently acquire merchants for our payment solutions.
Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and manage strategic sales channels to acquire merchants.
• Build partnerships with communities, associations, distributors, retailers, industry organizations, and other channel partners.
• Explore new business opportunities and develop scalable merchant acquisition strategies.
• Negotiate and establish mutually beneficial cooperation agreements with partners.
• Manage area/channel partner performance and ensure sustainable business growth.
• Work closely with the company's operations, product, and support teams to ensure successful partner onboarding and merchant activation.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with key partners and continuously expand the partner network.
• Prepare regular business development and channel performance reports.
Qualifications
• English speaker is mandatory, Mandarin a plus.
• Minimum High School/Vocational High School education (Diploma/Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Area/Channel Sales, Business Development, Partnership Management, or B2B Sales.
• Proven experience in developing sales channels or strategic business partnerships.
• Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and business development abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel for business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing network with merchant communities, business associations, distributors, retailers, or industry organizations.
• Experience working with area partners, channel partners, agents, resellers, or distributors.
• Understanding of merchant payment ecosystems and digital payment solution.
