Job Descriptions:
- Design, build, conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android platform devices.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Proofreading your code and correcting mistakes before each app is released.
- Collaborate with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.
- Creating app updates, including bug fixes and additional features, for release.
- Collaborate with Application Support Engineer to conduct root-cause analysis as and when needed and propose a corrective action plan.
- Work independently to be able to communicate effectively with users, and development and support teams during downtimes and when there are questions or issues to be addressed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
- Have at min. 3 years experience as an Android developer or in a similar role (mobile developer).
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development
- Proven working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app
- Proficient with Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, or C++.
- Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease.
- Prior experience as an android developer will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git or SVN)
- Familiarity with continuous integration
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
