Java Native Developer (Android) – Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance native Android applications using Java.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Android development best practices.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Android applications.
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and overall stability.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues.
Conduct unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and security guidelines.
Maintain technical documentation and support application maintenance and enhancements.
Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in native Android development using Java.
Strong proficiency in Java and Android SDK.
Experience with Android Jetpack components (Activity, Fragment, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room).
Strong understanding of Android application lifecycle and UI development.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs using Retrofit, Volley, or similar libraries.
Familiarity with SQLite, Room Database, and SharedPreferences.
Experience with Gradle, Git, and Android Studio.
Understanding of MVC, MVP, or MVVM architecture.
Knowledge of mobile application performance optimization and security best practices.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes is an advantage.
Experience in banking or financial services projects is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
