We are looking for a Software Developer From All Backgrounds to be part of an existing team. The team maintains systems for our international clients and adds new features.
Taksu Teknologi is a Software Provider with clients in Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia. We develop exciting products for them. At the same time, we offer our employees opportunities to learn, grow, and work together as a team.
General Requirement:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 1 (one) year of experience working in a similar position.
- Excellent in Programming and has proven work portfolios.
- Indonesian citizen and Applicants must already be living in Bali ( yang sudah menetap di Bali).
- Good English command (Written and Spoken).
Backend Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve backend applications and services.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services.
- Design, implement, and maintain databases, including data structure and queries.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and fix backend issues, bugs, and performance problems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, UI/UX designers, and other team members.
- Integrate backend systems with frontend applications and external APIs.
- Perform testing and debugging to ensure application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and server resources.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to system architecture and development decisions.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of applications in production environments.
What are we looking for from you?
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns, including clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Strong understanding of database design, including relationships, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
- Experience with authentication and authorization, such as JWT, OAuth, RBAC, or similar mechanisms.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Understanding of API security and common web vulnerabilities, such as OWASP Top 10.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Basic understanding of Linux/server environments and application deployment.
- Experience with caching, message queues, or asynchronous processing such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc. — depending on your stack.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production applications, including logs, metrics, and performance issues.
Frontend Developer & Mobile
Key Responsibilities:
- Component Development: Develop and implement highly responsive, reusable user interface components using core React concepts.
- State Management: Architect and maintain robust, scalable application state using MobX.
- Collaboration: Meet with the development and design teams to discuss user interface ideas, review application requirements, and plan features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code following modern React workflows.
- Optimization: Monitor and improve application performance, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.
- Debugging: Troubleshoot interface software, debug application codes, and resolve bottlenecks.
- Adaptability: Work closely with the team to apply your React knowledge across our chosen application environments (including Expo).
What are we looking for from you?
- Experience: Proven experience working as a Software Developer with a strong focus on the React ecosystem.
- Core Technologies: In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with TypeScript is highly preferred.
- React Foundation: Deep understanding of core React concepts, including Hooks, component lifecycles, and rendering optimization.
- State Management: Solid practical experience using MobX for managing complex application states.
- Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with the broader React ecosystem, modern build tools, and a general understanding of how React can be deployed across different environments (like Expo).
- Testing: Knowledge of performance testing and modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills, a growth mindset, and a strong willingness to learn new tools and platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
