We are seeking an editor who is not just technically proficient, but a true cinematic storyteller. In this role, you will combine traditional film editing techniques with cutting-edge AI video tools to craft compelling narrative movies and short films. Working closely with our Art Director and AI Creative Producer, you will be responsible for building immersive worlds, maintaining strict narrative flow, and ensuring every scene evokes the right emotion.
Key Responsibilities
-Edit and assemble narrative film projects, seamlessly integrating traditional footage with AI-generated video assets.
- Leverage AI generation tools (e.g., Seadance, Claude, ElevenLabs) to create supplementary B-roll, enhance VFX, or build out entire complex sequences.
- Maintain strict visual continuity, character consistency, and precise audio-visual alignment across all scenes and cuts.
- Shape the emotional arc of the movie through expert pacing, cinematic color grading, and layered sound design.
- Troubleshoot AI artifacts and refine generated footage to meet high-end, broadcast-quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor specializing in movies, short films, or narrative storytelling (a strong portfolio/showreel is required).
- Mastery of industry-standard NLE software (Capcut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with AI generative tools for video, audio, and imagery, with an understanding of how to prompt and manipulate them for film.
- Deep understanding of cinematic language, scene structure, and narrative pacing.
- Self-driven with the ability to maintain high responsiveness during business days within a remote working environment.
