We are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) headquartered in Singapore, with an operations team based in Indonesia. We support small and mid-sized businesses across the region with IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and helpdesk support. Our team of eight is tight-knit and moves fast.
We are now investing seriously in AI and automation to streamline our internal operations and build AI-powered capabilities that differentiate our service offering. This is a foundational hire — you will shape how we use technology to work smarter.
Role overview
We are looking for a hands-on developer who can design, build, and maintain AI-powered automations across our business. Your primary focus will be reducing manual work — in support operations, client reporting, onboarding, and internal workflows — using a combination of workflow automation platforms and large language model (LLM) APIs.
This is not a theoretical role. Within your first month you will be deploying real automations that save our team time. You will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to grow into a senior technical role as the company scales.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build automated workflows using tools such as n8n, Make (formerly Integromat), or similar platforms
- Integrate LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) into business workflows — ticket triage, summarisation, draft generation, alert enrichment
- Build and maintain an AI-assisted first-line support agent to handle routine helpdesk queries before human escalation
- Automate client-facing reporting: pull data from RMM and PSA tools and generate formatted monthly reports
- Connect and orchestrate business systems via REST APIs and webhooks (ticketing systems, CRM, cloud platforms)
- Write clear technical documentation, runbooks, and handover notes for all automations
- Monitor, debug, and continuously improve deployed workflows
- Identify new automation opportunities by working closely with the Singapore and Indonesia teams
Required skills and experience
You should be able to demonstrate most of the following:
- Speaks and writes fluent English
- 2–5 years of software development or automation experience
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript — comfortable writing scripts, parsing JSON, and handling API responses
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and webhooks — authentication, error handling, retries
- Experience building integrations with at least one workflow automation platform (n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar)
- Practical experience calling and integrating LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini)
- Ability to work independently, ask good clarifying questions, and deliver without close supervision
- Good written English communication — this is a remote role with async collaboration across SG and ID
Nice to have
- Experience in an MSP, IT services, or SaaS environment
- Familiarity with RMM or PSA tools (e.g. Zoho Apps, Action1, ConnectWise, Halo PSA, NinjaRMM)
- Basic cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure) — enough to self-host n8n on a VPS
- Experience with prompt engineering and designing structured LLM outputs
- Exposure to conversational AI or chatbot frameworks
