ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

Supervise and manage the accounting team, including staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and professional development

Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payment and collection

Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies or anomalies

Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies

Prepare and submit statutory financial reports and tax documentation as required

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk

Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and accruals

Support budgeting and forecasting activities, analyzing variances against actual performance

Liaise with external auditors and government agencies on accounting and compliance matters

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement more efficient accounting procedures

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Solid understanding of internal controls and financial audit procedures

Professional communication skills in Indonesian and English (both written and verbal); Mandarin will be a plus.

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting

Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members

Experience in the manufacturing or textile industry would be advantageous
