Role Description
As an Accounting Apprentice at VocaGame, you will support the Finance team in handling daily administrative and operational finance activities, particularly in data checking, reconciliation, and financial documentation. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and large amounts of data, and eager to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting functions within a fast-paced gaming/startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily finance and accounting administrative tasks
- Supporting data entry, checking, and documentation of financial transactions
- Assisting with financial data matching and reconciliation
- Identifying and investigating discrepancies or differences in financial data
- Organizing, filing, and maintaining financial records such as invoices, receipts, and reports
- Supporting basic financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Coordinating with internal teams regarding finance-related documents and data
- Supporting settlement-related activities and other finance operational tasks
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance & Accounting team
Qualifications:
- Active D3/S1 students majoring in Accounting, Finance, Management, or other relevant fields
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of financial reconciliation
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers and large amounts of data
- Able to perform data checking and matching and identify discrepancies
- Responsible and able to work effectively with deadlines
- Willing to handle repetitive and detail-oriented tasks
- Willing to learn, proactive, and responsible
Proficiency in:
- Proficiency in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Familiarity with SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, and IF formulas
- Familiarity with Pivot Tables
- Comfortable using Filter & Sorting functions
- Basic understanding of data cleaning
- Previous experience handling financial reconciliation or settlement
Able to work on-site in Surabaya with working hours 08.00–17.00
