About the Company
We are a Bali-based real estate development company specializing in the construction and management of villas for international investors. Our operations cover the full lifecycle—development, construction, capital raising, and hospitality management—handled entirely in-house.
As we enter a growth phase targeting €5–10 million projects, we are strengthening our internal structure to support scalable and professional operations.
Role Overview
As the Accounting & Tax, you will play a key role in establishing and leading the company's accounting and tax functions from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing accounting processes, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance through coordination with external consultants, and delivering timely financial reports to support business decisions.
Working closely with the business owners, you will help build a strong financial foundation by implementing efficient accounting systems, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance with Indonesian accounting and tax regulations. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who is comfortable building new processes, solving problems, and supporting the growth of a dynamic villa management company.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and develop the company's accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting systems from scratch.
- Create and implement accounting policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal controls.
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), cash flow, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping to support tax compliance and statutory reporting.
- Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for monthly and annual tax filings.
- Coordinate closely with external accounting and tax consultants to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Work directly with the business owners by providing financial reports, business insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and timely.
- Continuously improve accounting processes and maintain proper financial documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Accounting & Tax.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Brevet A & B certification is required.
- Previous experience working in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) or Tax Consulting Firm is highly preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, villa management, property, or real estate industries is an advantage.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable communicating and working directly with company owners and external consultants.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Available to join immediately or within a short notice period (ready to work at beginning of July 2026)
