ACCOUNTING & TAX MANAGER
Toys and Cosmetic Packaging Factory
PT Sam Bound Mitra Indonesia is seeking a qualified professional to join our team as Accounting & Tax Manager, responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s accounting operations and tax compliance to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective financial control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and oversee the company’s accounting and taxation operations
• Supervise the recording of financial transactions and ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Review general journals, ledgers, and financial statements prepared by the accounting team
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Oversee bank reconciliation processes and financial data accuracy
• Review financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Monitor and control factory operational costs and financial efficiency
• Lead and coordinate monthly and annual financial closing processes
• Manage the company’s tax obligations (VAT, Article 21, Article 23, Article 25/29 Income Tax, and other related taxes)
• Review and ensure timely submission of Monthly and Annual Tax Returns
• Supervise the use of e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and Coretax systems in accordance with regulations
• Review reconciliation between tax data and accounting records
• Prepare and review supporting documents for tax audits and tax reviews
• Coordinate with Finance, tax consultants, auditors, and related parties when required
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company SOPs
• Prepare financial and tax reports for management decision-making
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related fields
• Minimum 5–7 years experience in accounting and taxation
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environment is preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and Indonesian tax regulations
• Familiar with accounting software and ERP systems
• Experienced in using e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and Coretax systems
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
• Willing to be placed in Brebes, Central Java
