Accountant

YouApp integrates Western, Indian, and Eastern philosophies such as Astrology, Horoscopes (星座), Chinese Zodiac (生肖), and BaZi (八字) to offer immersive matching experiences, vibrant communities, exciting experiences & events, and connections with like-minded groups and communities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted figures.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and accurate recording of transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend appropriate actions.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.
