Job description for Accountant at KrisShop Pte Ltd
- Report to the Finance Manager
- Responsible for General Ledger & partial AR (Credit Cards & Miles)
- Supervise 1 Accounts Supervisor (Credit Card)
- Prepare journals, month-end closing reports and schedules for review
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and year-end financial statements
- Responsible for GST submission
- Ensure compliance with the Group’s, Statutory and Accounting Standards and requirements
- Ensure adherence of internal controls by all staff/departments
- Liaison with auditor and tax agents to complete audits and ensure timely reporting of audited accounts, ECI and tax returns
- Suggest/recommend ways to tighten our existing internal controls, where appropriate
- Any other duties as assigned
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical, self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team
