Account Executive (Hunter) — Uncapped Commission, Build Your Own Territory
If you've only ever closed deals from leads the office handed you — and quietly know you're capable of more — read this to the end.
Mission of the Role
You're the first person to touch future operators and institutional partners at Smartven — the front door to financial freedom for 10,000 Indonesian families over 10 years. Not managing warm leads. Hunting what isn't on anyone's radar yet.
What You'll Do
• Build your own target list — professionals 35–45 ready for a side business, and institutions (banks, fintech, FMCG) that need a partnership.
• Cold outreach every day — calls, WhatsApp, DMs, even in person. Find the right person to talk to, uncover their need and timing.
• Log everything in CRM — not paperwork, it's your weapon for knowing exactly when to close.
• Close individual deals yourself; for large partnerships, you open the first door before handing off to the lead.
Experience That Fits This Role
• You've been an insurance agent or MLM rep who built your own client list from zero — not one who waited for office leads.
• You've been a telemarketer or promoter chasing daily targets, already numb to dozens of rejections before one yes.
• You've sold property, mortgages, investments, or franchises directly to individuals — cold calls or door-to-door, not just from expo booths.
• You've worked outbound B2B sales (software, digital ads, etc.) to SMEs under a tight monthly quota.
• You've built your own prospect list — LinkedIn, WhatsApp blasts, or otherwise — and know how to find the right person to talk to.
You're Not It If
• You're used to waiting for inbound leads to show up.
• You give up after 3–5 rejections.
• You need a complete SOP before you're willing to move.
