LMN Studio is looking for a passionate and creative 3D Environment Artist to join our team. This position is open for all levels, from Intern, Junior, Mid-Level, to Senior Artists. You will work closely with the production and art team to create high-quality environments, assets, and world-building elements for animation, VFX, and creative projects.
We are looking for individuals with strong artistic sense, technical understanding, and a collaborative mindset who are eager to grow within a fast-paced creative environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Create high-quality 3D environment assets, props, and scene setups based on concept art or project requirements.
* Develop modeling, texturing, lighting, and scene composition for environments.
* Collaborate with supervisors, producers, and other departments to ensure visual consistency and project quality.
* Optimize assets and scenes for production pipelines and rendering efficiency.
* Assist in environment layout, set dressing, and world-building processes.
* Revise and improve assets based on feedback from leads or supervisors.
* Maintain organized project files and follow studio pipeline standards.
* Stay updated with industry trends, workflows, and software developments related to environment creation.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Basic to advanced understanding of 3D environment creation workflows.
* Familiar with software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Unreal Engine, Substance Painter, or similar tools.
* Good understanding of modeling, texturing, lighting, composition, and rendering.
* Strong artistic sense in environment design, mood, scale, and storytelling.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
* Having a portfolio/showreel related to environment work is mandatory.
* Open for Intern, Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior candidates.
## Nice to Have
* Experience in animation, VFX, or game production pipelines.
* Knowledge of procedural workflow and optimization.
* Familiarity with Unreal Engine or real-time environment workflow.
* Understanding of cinematic composition and visual storytelling.
