About the role

Join the dynamic team at KTC Civil Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd as a full-time WSH Officer cum ECO. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and environmental sustainability of our construction projects in the Singapore River Central Region. You will be responsible for overseeing workplace safety and health as well as environmental compliance, playing a key part in our commitment to operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Conduct risk assessments, develop safe work procedures, and provide training to site personnel

Oversee the implementation of environmental management plans, including waste management, resource conservation, and pollution control measures

Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure timely reporting and resolution of safety and environmental issues

Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective and preventive actions

Collaborate with the project team to integrate safety and environmental considerations into all aspects of construction activities

Provide guidance and support to site personnel on safety and environmental matters

What we're looking for

Degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Management, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as a WSH Officer or Environmental Control Officer in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of workplace safety and health regulations, environmental legislation, and industry best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with site personnel, clients, and regulatory authorities

Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using relevant software for risk assessment, incident reporting, and data management
