Customer interaction: Greet customers, show them to their tables, present menus, and answer questions about the menu and specials.
Order taking: Take food and drink orders accurately, and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
Service: Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Payment processing: Present bills to customers and accurately process payments.
Table maintenance: Clear dirty dishes from tables, and prepare tables for new guests by setting them with linens, silverware, and glasses.
Problem resolution: Address customer complaints and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Upselling: Suggest additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks, to increase sales.
Communication: Maintain clear communication with customers, kitchen staff, and management.
