Job Summary:
The Transport Customer Service Officer supports daily transport operations by coordinating with customers, drivers, and internal teams. The role focuses on ensuring smooth service delivery, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of transport activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries, bookings, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with drivers and operations team to ensure efficient job scheduling and delivery
- Monitor and track transport jobs to ensure on-time performance
- Update customers on job status, delays, or any service issues
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of orders, delivery notes, and transport documents
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary
- Support billing processes by verifying job completion and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Level, Diploma preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and a positive working attitude
- Prior experience in logistics or transport industry is an advantage (but not required)
