Job Purpose:
A Trainer (ICT) supports the school’s operations by managing data systems, ICT resources and education technology platforms to ensure accurate information management, effective use of digital tools, and smooth delivery of teaching, learning and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting Support
Maintain the school data and information management systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Identify, analyse, test, troubleshoot and resolve systems technical issues pertaining to collection, storage, access and use of school data and information
Propose and recommend solutions to improve the school data and information management systems
Provide consultancy services to support staff on matters related to use of data for analysis
Collate and generate school reports for internal and external stakeholders
Educational Technology & User Support
Oversee school’s ICT resources for deployment in teaching and learning and to support school infrastructure
Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to staff on educational technology systems, platforms and digital processes (e.g. data entry, reporting, compliance, preparing and sharing user guides, instructions and reference materials for digital tools and platforms)
ICT Resource & Asset Management
Source and purchase of ICT devices to support the school infrastructures
Collaborate with Infocomm and Project team to manage inventory of school ICT resources and its deployment to support school infrastructure
Evaluate and recommend ICT resources and solutions to support teaching and learning
Liaise and connect with key stakeholders and service providers on ICT solutions and data management to support school operations
Proactively scan the market for the technology trends and new technology tools to enhance school infrastructure
Job Requirements:
Minimum polytechnic diploma with 2 or more years of experience or Degree in Business Analytics, Business Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or ICT-related field
Proficient in the use of ICT tools, e.g. Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Excel), Microsoft SharePoint, MacOS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Image & Video Editing software
Ability to organise, update and validate data systematically
Familiar with school‑based digital systems and platforms
Able to provide frontline user support for staff and students
Preferably with prior experience working in schools
Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Good team player with high level of initiative
Organised, meticulous and a good problem solver
Able to do administrative work well
Knowledge of Content Management System and Web Editing would be an advantage
