Job description for Technical Officer (Customer Projects East) at SP Group
What You'll Do:
Implement service connection projects in providing timely supply to customers
Assist Senior Officers in implementing major works projects and service connection projects
Assist Senior Officers during HT switching operations
Assist Senior Officers in conducting partial discharge test on newly commissioned HT cables using Oscillating Wave Testing System
Conduct site safety audit
Liaise with relevant authorities and private land owners on road opening matters
Monitor project expenditures
Supervise contractors in installation of switchgear, transformer, LV Board, LV Overground Box, cable and substation earthing & miscellaneous works
Attend to customers’ requests and complaints
Issue work orders, installation orders and vouchers
Update records in NOVA system
Supervise the contractors in the implementing of projects
Perform standby duties
What You'll Need:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from any of the recognised Polytechnics in Singapore
Capability to engage key stakeholders and customers
Strong technical background, with project management skills to be able to manage quickly evolving and complex projects
Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
Able to work independently, as well as in a team in a challenging environment
Possess a valid driving license
