Job Description

Technical Specialist Intern (Project-Focused) – Cooling / Data Center Solutions

Internship Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented intern to support the Technical Specialist team primarily on project-related activities for Cooling and Data Center applications. This internship focuses on improving technical project documentation, engineering calculation consolidation, product data accuracy, and project support materials to enhance execution efficiency and technical alignment across teams.

The intern will work closely with Technical Specialists, Sales, BD, and Engineering teams on ongoing improvement initiatives and major project support activities.

Internship Project Assignments

The intern will primarily focus on the following improvement projects:

1. Engineering Calculation Consolidation Project

• Consolidate engineering calculations, technical formulas, references, and supporting information currently scattered across emails and different internal sources into a centralized and structured resource.

2. Product Description Improvement Project

• Improve and standardize product descriptions for Chinaust products (e.g., DZS) within YP01 to minimize incorrect part code selection and improve Sales team usability.

3. Technical Drawing & Reference Support

• Assist in preparing typical detailed drawings and standardized project reference materials for Cooling/Data Center applications, subject to software availability and project requirements.

Learning Opportunities

• Exposure to major Cooling and Data Center project environments.
• Understanding of technical project coordination and engineering support processes.
• Hands-on experience with engineering documentation, product data management, and technical standardization.
• Opportunity to work closely with regional Technical Specialists and cross-functional project teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with good analytical thinking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Interest in Cooling Systems, Data Center infrastructure, or industrial project applications.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering software is a plus.
• Comfortable handling technical information and project documentation.
