We are an exciting "The Big Meat" new steakhouse restaurant preparing for our opening in Pererenan, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team. We are currently hiring for Sous Chef position, which will play a key role in building a positive work culture and supporting our restaurant operations.

Position: Sous Chef

Location: Pererenan

Employment Type: Full-time

Start Date: Immediate

Qualifications :

Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK), preferably Culinary Arts or related fields.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1–2 years as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef De Partie.

Strong understanding of kitchen operations, workflow management, and team supervision.

Able to assist the Head Chef in menu planning, quality control, and recipe development.

Excellent cooking, plating, and food presentation skills.

Solid knowledge and implementation of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards.

Able to lead, train, and evaluate kitchen staff performance.

Skilled in inventory management, food cost control, and waste minimization.

Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Strong leadership, communication skills, and a professional work attitude.

Willing to work on shift schedules, weekends, and public holidays.

Disciplined, honest, responsible, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.

Working days

- 6 working days/week

- one days off/week

Working hours

- 8 working hours
