Job Description
Manage an LTA project site or multiple private sector projects
Oversee and supervise overall project execution and site activities
Liaise with clients, designers, and consultants on design specifications and feasibility
Coordinate with logistics and machinery departments to ensure smooth operations
Propose and implement effective work methods and construction strategies
Provide technical expertise and recommend improvements for project efficiency
Lead and manage the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
Monitor project progress and performance against short-term and long-term goals
Identify and manage project risks to minimize potential issues
Ensure proper allocation and utilization of manpower on-site
Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved specifications
Review project progress and work closely with quantity surveyors on cost control
Ensure all necessary approvals from relevant authorities are obtained before commencement
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Job Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent, OR
Specialist Diploma in Construction Management, OR
Degree in Building and Project Management, OR
Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)
Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings
Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling
