Job description for Senior/Sales Manager at Millennium Hotels and Resorts

Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for assisting with selling guestrooms, meeting rooms and additional services to companies or groups as needed.


Responsibilities

Involvement with credit meeting, business travel and tradeshows

Develop New accounts and servicing of existing account

To achieve personal sales goal & given KPI

Handle corporate accounts

Consolidate and update competitor information and market trends

Responsible for assisting with selling guestrooms, meeting rooms and additional services as required.

Duties may include conducting site inspections, soliciting and generating new and repeat business

Maintaining organization of office files and reports and preparing written correspondence

Responsibilities also include working with operations staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Providing mentoring and training of junior staff

Leverages other Sales Office resources and administrative/support staff to achieve personal and team related revenue goals

Market analysis and implementing a sales & marketing strategy for the purpose of seeking out new business through various industries

Analyze and research potential business opportunities from competitor Hotels and create a prospect list for targeting

To actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of Hotel

Handle all inquiries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day (24hours)

Supervision of daily work flow including Proposals and Contracts

Conduct site tour & discussion with potential clients

Achievement of budgeted labour costs

Achievement of budgeted departmental profitability

Achievement of budgeted room sales Revenue, ADR, Room Nights


Job Requirement/Criterion

Minimally 3 years Hospitality Sales experience required

Strong organizational and computer skills required

Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks

Must be outgoing and a proven self-starter

Able to work under pressure

Able to communicate fluently
