Job description for Senior/ Physiotherapist, Correctional Health at Changi General Hospital
Responsibilities:
Deliver physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, and post‑operative needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans to manage pain and disability, and to restore or optimize patients’ function.
Engage in ongoing clinical education to enhance clinical knowledge and integrate evidence‑based practice into patient care.
Undertake training to provide specialized rehabilitation services within the Correctional Health Facility, including tailoring interventions for the correctional population, maintaining physiotherapy operations within Correctional Health, and contributing to interprofessional collaboration and education
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within Correctional Health, as well as with the Physiotherapy Department at Changi General Hospital (CGH), to facilitate knowledge exchange, clinical training, service integration, and professional growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy, recognised by the Singapore Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
Valid practising certificate from AHPC Singapore
Good clinical reasoning and risk management, particularly in non‑traditional care settings
Ability to adapt treatment plans within environmental and operational constraints
Possess strong interpersonal skills, adaptable to changes, resilient
