Job Summary:
This role is responsible for consolidating, reviewing, analysing, and interpreting financial information and group reporting templates submitted by all sites, and ensuring that consolidated reports are prepared for Management and/or Group reporting within the required deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Report directly and support the Head of Group Finance.
Ability to understand requirements to implement suitable reporting processes at group/region/company/department level.
Upload financial data to local servers to support efficient management reporting.
Prepare and review group reports for management evaluation.
Compute monthly cross-border commissions and management adjustments across regions.
Consolidate, review, analyze, and upload the annual group budget and related data for management and head office submission.
Review group reporting templates from all sites to ensure timely submission to head office.
Review financial statements prepared by respective site Finance.
Analyze financial data to provide business insights that support operational and strategic decisions, including site justifications, capital expenditures, and customer credit evaluations, and provide recommendations to management.
Coordinate with regional finance teams on financial and group reporting matters.
Review and support cross-border tax matters, including transfer pricing and withholding tax documentation.
Review annual tax computations prepared by tax agents and ensure timely filing.
Review GST and related matters.
Assist in gathering data for computing and allocate costs across sites.
Review statutory financials prepared by accountants and auditors, and ensure audited financial statements are signed on time.
Coordinate with the Company Secretary to ensure timely annual filings.
Prepare directors’ resolutions and meeting minutes; arrange director signatures and ensure proper lodgement with the Company Secretary.
Ensure proper internal controls, governance and compliance.
Consolidate and assess insurance needs; provide recommendations for local and group insurance coverage.
Analyze monthly financial variances against budget and prior periods.
Lead finance projects such as SQL, LucaNet and other possible system implementation, automation and digitalisation.
Hands-on experiences with systems, advance with Excel and its related tools.
Undertake any other adhoc tasks and projects which may be required from time to time.
Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting / Chartered Accountant / ACCA.
Minimally 7 years of experience in related fields.
Good knowledge of corporate law, company secretarial matters, business insurance matters, Gen AI will be added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Excel and its related tools.
Experienced with group reporting/consolidation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills. Well versed and familiar with Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs).
Mature, positive learning attitude, ability to multi-task, able to work in fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership, good problem solving, great analytical skills.
