Job Description

The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager will be an integral member of the Undergraduate Studies Office, overseeing the operational delivery of Student Exchange Programmes (SEP) and other overseas learning initiatives in response to the School’s expanding undergraduate intake. The incumbent will play a critical role in facilitating international mobility opportunities and ensuring a seamless student experience for both incoming and outgoing participants.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and end-to-end management of SEP and other global learning programmes, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and service quality.
  • Lead the planning and execution of application, selection, nomination, and onboarding processes for both outgoing and incoming exchange students.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with partner universities (PUs), maintaining timely and effective communication at the faculty level.
  • Deliver impactful student advisory services, including briefings, consultations, and ongoing support throughout the exchange lifecycle.
  • Act as the faculty liaison for incoming exchange students, supporting their transition, integration, and overall experience.
  • Oversee completion activities such as credit transfer processes, working closely with relevant university offices and cross-faculty academic units.
  • Prepare analytical reports on global programmes for the School Management.
  • Provide oversight of SEP-related academic matters, including course registration and curriculum mapping, distance examination proctoring duties and credits transfers.
  • Facilitate course add/drop and appeal processes in collaboration with academic departments for incoming non-graduating students.
  • Maintain the Course Master List and quotas and coordinate with the Office of the University Registrar to ensure timely system updates.
  • Contribute to the administration of undergraduate business processes and support new initiatives or tasks assigned by the Undergraduate Studies Office.

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in higher education, student mobility, academic administration, or related fields.
  • Experience in leading projects or operational excellence initiatives will be an advantage.
  • Strong student-centric orientation with proven ability to engage and support diverse student groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-departmental and international collaborations.
