About the Role
As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you will act as NCCS’s designated trusted custodian for de-identified data and samples, responsible for approving any re-identification or retrieval requests. The role upholds confidentiality, ensures data integrity, maintains regulatory compliance, and fosters trust in institutional operations.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
Lead the development or adoption of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data management in collaboration with SingHealth-level data management and IT-related units
Ensure proper handling of data, including maintaining confidentiality and security standards
Develop and manage a centralised NCCS database using REDCap, including de-identification and re-identification where required
Liaise with relevant compliance and research units to support implantation of data governance policies
Document processes, maintain audit trails, resolve data discrepancies and prepare compliance reports
Support operational analytics and data requests from management, including initiatives under National Health Economics in Cancer on TRUST
Assist with departmental or institutional ad hoc projects
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Health Sciences or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical or clinical operations roles, preferably in informatics, data-science, innovation, project management and / or healthcare administration
Well-organised, meticulous, proven ability to handle multiple projects independently
Strong database management and computer skills, including proficiency in R; knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Resourceful and innovative in problem-solving
