Job description for SENIOR COOK at PAUL Bakery
Job Summary
You will support the culinary team by preparing food items according to quality standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safe equipment use in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Responsibilities
Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs to complete assigned culinary tasks accurately
Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, including working any day or shift as required
Focus on completing one task fully before moving to the next to maintain efficiency
Complete assigned work lists within the set time frames to support kitchen operations
Ensure food quality by maintaining sanitary conditions and applying "First In First Out" (FIFO) kitchen practices
Store all food products correctly in designated fridges and containers throughout the shift
Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation standards in all culinary work areas and encourage colleagues to clean their stations after service
Use kitchen equipment safely and properly, and guide colleagues on correct equipment use
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum 1 year of relevant culinary experience
