Job Summary
The Sales Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational performance of the company.
The role oversees both the Sales and Operations teams, drives global market expansion across ASEAN, India, Europe, and North America, and holds full accountability for the company’s Profit & Loss (P&L).
The sales director will lead sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation within the electronic components industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the company’s global growth strategy aligned with board and shareholder objectives
Drive market expansion across ASEAN, India, Europe, and North America
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments
Ensure competitive positioning within the electronic components distribution / supply chain ecosystem
Sales & Market Expansion
Lead and oversee the global Sales organization
Develop regional sales strategies and revenue targets
Strengthen key customer and supplier relationships
Drive business development in high-growth and strategic markets
Ensure strong pipeline management and forecast accuracy
Operations & Supply Chain Management
Oversee the Operations team including supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
Optimize operational efficiency, cost control, and service levels
Strengthen supplier partnerships and improve supply continuity
Ensure risk management and compliance across regions
Financial & P&L Accountability
Full responsibility for company-wide P&L performance
Drive revenue growth, gross margin improvement, and cost optimization
Ensure financial discipline, budgeting accuracy, and capital efficiency
Report financial and operational performance to the Board
Organizational Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing leadership team
Develop succession planning and talent management strategies
Foster a performance-driven, customer-focused corporate culture
Strengthen cross-functional collaboration between Sales and Operations
Governance & Compliance
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and corporate governance standards
Manage legal, contractual, and business risks across global markets
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 15 years of experience in the electronic components industry (distribution, manufacturing, or semiconductor-related business)
Proven track record in senior leadership roles with regional or global exposure
Strong experience managing international markets (ASEAN, India, Europe, North America)
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and profitability
Extensive experience with P&L management and financial leadership
Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, and global logistics
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Working hours:
Mon to Fri, standard office hours
