Requirements
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring workplace safety practices to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant safety regulations. The role includes conducting site inspections, supporting safety implementation, preparing reports, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and safe work practices on site
- Assist in identifying workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare safety reports, inspection records, and incident documentation
- Support investigations relating to workplace incidents or safety-related matters
- Coordinate safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety training for workers
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers on site
- Liaise with site staff, supervisors, and relevant authorities on safety matters
- Maintain proper filing of safety documents, permits, and records
- Assist in implementing company safety policies and risk control measures
- Monitor housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and organised work environment
- Carry out other ad hoc duties assigned by management
- Relevant experience in construction or workplace safety preferred
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety regulations and procedures
- Possess good communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Responsible, attentive, and able to handle site-related matters
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage
- WSQ Workplace Safety and Health certifications will be an added advantage
