About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Regulatory Officer to join our team at PT ASCC International Indonesia, based in Cikarang Pusat, West Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's operations comply with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements within the chemical distribution company.

What you'll be doing

Policy & Procedure: Developing, implementing and monitoring warehouse and safety policies/procedures to maintain good business process and safe working environment

HSE Management: Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure a zero-accident workplace.

Regulatory Compliance: Manage permits, licenses, and reporting related to hazardous substances (B3) in accordance with Indonesian regulations (KLHK, Kemenperin, etc.).

Chemical Stewardship: Oversee the classification, labelling, and packaging of chemicals following the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).

Safety Data Sheets (SDS): Review, maintain, and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/LDK) and ensure they are accessible to all relevant personnel.

Risk Assessment: Conduct specialized risk assessments for chemical processes and storage areas.

Audit & Reporting: Lead internal audits for chemical safety and prepare compliance reports for government agencies.

Training: Provide technical safety training regarding chemical hazards and emergency response procedures (spill handling, etc.).

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Occupational Health & Safety (K3) with a strong chemical background.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HSE, specifically within industries handling chemicals (e.g., Manufacturing, Logistics, or Pharma).

Certified Ahli K3 Umum (General K3 Specialist) is mandatory; Ahli K3 Kimia (Chemical K3 Specialist) is highly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of Indonesian Chemical Regulations (e.g., PP 74/2001) and international standards (GHS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Proven experience in handling regulatory systems such as SIMPEL or SIRAJA.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail regarding technical documentation.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for reporting and regulatory review.

An adaptable individual capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
