Job Summary
The Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle guest inquiries while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize table utilization.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests courteously and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception/hostess area.
Coordinate with waiters and restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest service.
Monitor dining room flow and wait times; provide accurate waiting information to guests.
Assist in maintaining guest satisfaction and handling feedback proactively.
Support restaurant promotions and upselling initiatives when needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus.
Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or in customer service preferred.
Fresh graduates are welcome with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in English (and other languages is an advantage).
