Job description for Resident Technical Officer at Engineers Alliance
- Perform the duties of the Resident Engineer on site.
- Act as primary point of contact for the construction supervision of the project between the contractor, client and consultant team
- Project progress reporting
- Quality control and design modifications
- Establish an appropriate working relationship with the contractor
- Build a trusted relationship with the client and consultant team
- Use effective project management and control systems to regularly report on progress to the Client
- Monitor progress of construction against the programme and take steps to avoid delay.
- Evaluate, select and adapt construction management and control techniques, procedures and criteria to suit job tasks and devices and implement solutions to problems encountered.
- Attend site meetings, progress meetings, design/technical meetings and meetings with statutory bodies as required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a university accredited by PE Board Singapore
- Experience in full-time site supervision
- The RTO shall have minimum 5 years of relevant site experience
