The Rental & Leasing Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and maximizing revenue through effective rental and leasing strategies. This role involves leading a team to ensure exceptional customer experiences, and optimizing fleet utilization. In addition, to also proactively identify business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.
Job Description:
Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base, targeting new and existing customers to meet sales goals.
Generate and follow up on sales leads to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Identify customer needs and recommend tailored rental and leasing solutions to maximize conversions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual clients to drive repeat business.
Act as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly.
Set and uphold standards for exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
Participate in vehicle showcasing and demonstrations to effectively promote offerings.
Oversee fleet availability, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained and meet customer expectations.
Optimize fleet utilization, minimizing downtime and maximizing profitability.
Train, mentor, and lead the rental and leasing team to enhance sales performance and service delivery.
Motivate the team to drive portfolio growth and revenue increase.
Monitor sales, costs, and profitability, and participate in budgeting and cost control activities.
Prepare monthly performance reports with insights on sales trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to provide strategic recommendations.
Identify risks, opportunities, and trends in the corporate and automotive sectors that could impact business performance.
Provide recommendations to management based on market insights to support strategic planning.
Support ad-hoc projects and other assigned duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle rental, leasing, related sales field, with 2+ years in a managerial role.
Proficiency in sales techniques, including lead generation, deal structuring, closing sales, and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
