Job description for Receiving & Buyer / Purchasing Trainee at Capella Ubud
The Role
Professional Communication: Interact courteously with guests, suppliers, and colleagues while upholding the hotel's reputation.
Attention to Detail: Verify invoices, delivery notes, and received goods for accuracy in quality and quantity.
Inventory Management: Maintain proper storage, apply FIFO principles, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or waste.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all merchandise movement is backed by proper documentation and follows hotel policies.
Store & Security Oversight: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and secure, allowing access only to authorized personnel.
Operational Support: Assist in physical inventory checks, resolve discrepancies, and provide accurate purchase and issue records.
Adaptability & Reliability: Be punctual, flexible, and prepared to support the team in various tasks as business needs evolve.
Talent Profile:
An active student that enrolled in a College or University preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management, Economy / Finance or Business Management
Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, a team player and good at cultivating strong guest relations
Basic command in spoken and written English.
Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Possess a great communication skill
Good conflict resolution skills with decision making and judgmental skills
Flexible regarding work schedules
Strong email etiquette
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, and Power Point
