Job description for Quantity Surveyor at Sundart Engineering Services

About the role

Involved in cost analysis and contracts administration services for projects, including quantity surveying and contract administration activities.

Key responsibilities

Prepare tender documents, tender evaluation reports, variation agreements

Monitor budget and keep track of project expenditures

Prepare and submit tenders including quantity taking off and pricing

Prepare letter of award to subcontractors and verify claims and cost control

Identify and prepare variations orders for the projects

Obtain subcontractors and suppliers quotation for costing

Perform cost comparison

Close liaison among project managers, designers and vendors

Ad-Hoc duties as assigned

About you

Diploma or Degree Holder in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines

Minimum 1 years relevant experience in QS fields

Proactive, well-organized, attentive to detail and able to work under pressure

Previous exposure to sub-contractors and commercial contracts administration, cost and budgeting controls, claims handling, tender submission, materials pricing and costs estimation
