Responsibilities:

Taking off quantity for materials and resources basing on project requirements.

Identify and source appropriate materials and vendors basing project requirements.

Communicate and negotiate with vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing.

Develop detailed quotations / costing documents for projects (government & private projects).

Analyse costing for individual projects basing on company marketing direction / strategy.

Attend site / tender briefing for individual projects

Attend meetings (internal / external) for costing discussion / presentation

Liaise and work with individual departments (design team, M&E team, etc)

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent

Min 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore

Be meticulous, cost conscious, independent, highly motivated and a good team player.

Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

With experience as a Quantity Surveyor in interior design / interior fitting out or related fields in Singapore is preferred

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Familiarity with construction contracts and tender processes.

Proficiency in relevant software for quantity take-offs and contract management.
