Summary:

Supporting final inspection verification process improvement initiative, perform inspections, checks, tests, and inspection of incoming materials, parts and components used in the assembled jobs.

Responsibilities:

Execute Incoming Quality Check, Quality In-Process and Outgoing Quality Check, per assigned task.

Provide Job status and Inspection report findings to Team Leads/ Management.

Support in the final verification process prior to job approval and job receipt.

Provide guidance to colleagues and mentor new hires

Assist in generating checklist for FA projects and sustaining projects

Support in the preparation and issuance of related DMR/ CAR

Communicate Quality Alerts when applicable

Perform complete FA dimensional checks.

Assist with Supplier Site source inspection, Audit and Report documentation

Mechanically inclined and hands-on individual.

Produce quality work on time, ensure associates observe in-line quality protocols.

Performing other duties as assigned, including minor touch up/ repair works as needed.

Willing to be trained in the following areas: reading drawing, inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus and testing equipment.

Use appropriate forms transactions such as Incoming/ Outgoing Checklist, Parts Replacement Form, Torque Check Form, etc

Comply with company policies and procedures.

Sustain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

Good communication and a team player. Able to assist new colleagues.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

2 - 3 years’ hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry

Possess working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and equipment used in the inspection and testing of cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
