Job description for QA/QC Engineer at Nordic Flow Control
Job Responsibilities:
- Read technical drawings and design specifications and ensure that theconstruction as per Client GP is met.
- Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project, includingcertificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliancereports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, andother important QA/QC documents.
- Testing and Commissioning of All Electrical system like MCC,Transformers, UPS, LightiTroubleshooting
- Trouble shooting of Electrical & Instrument system
- Preparation of the Loop folders & Job Packs.
- Pre-Calibration and Calibration of Instruments like Transmitters Flow,Pressure, Temperature and Level transmitters, Control Valves, EBV Valves,relief Valves, Self-Actuating Control Valve and maintaining the documents.
- Commissioning, Calibration and maintenance of various make Field &Panel Instruments like Pressure, Temperature, Flow & Level Measurements andFinal Control Elements.
- P&ID, Instruments Index, Cable schedule, JB Schedule, Loop diagram,Panel wiring & Hook up drawing.
- Preparation of the data sheets for Electrical and Instrument system.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensureconformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance withoperational and safety standards.
- Monitor and make sure the specifications of purchasing materials aremeet client requirement.
- Prepare Quality plan, ITP, Audit plan in compliance with the Client`soperational procedures
- Liaise with contractors and clients
- Supervise and train project team members as necessary
- Observe conditions impacting design and to identify solutions totechnical design problems involving electrical systems equipment that ariseduring construction
- Ensure that corrective actions are followed up and implemented
Job requirement:
- Diploma/ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or maritime related fields with one (3+)years of relevant full-time experience.
- Prior experience in the Maritime/Oil & Gas industries and shipyardswill be highly advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel,Power Point, etc).
- A working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA Codes and StandardsRelating to Electrical and Instrumentation work.
- Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Responsible, Meticulous and able to work under pressure.
