JOB DESCRIPTION – Purchasing Officer
- Responsible for the entire sourcing process of both local and overseas purchases
- Perform daily operational purchasing matters and coordinate shipping documentation, logistics, and schedules, including import permit declaration
- Review quality of purchased products
- Monitoring contracts renewal period, variation orders & vendor management
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Liaising with stakeholders, arrange and conduct meetings with vendors
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
- Other ad-hoc related tasks assigned by Purchasing Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- O/N Levels, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
- Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a team
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Organized and meticulous
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills enabling one to to deal with internal and external stakeholders professionally
- Able to converse in English and Mandarin
