Job description for PURCHASING OFFICER GENERAL at Mulia Industrindo
Responsibility
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and source the best suppliers for required goods and services
• Negotiate and secure favourable terms and pricing with suppliers
• Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain productive relationships
• Analyse market trends and provide recommendations to improve the company's purchasing strategies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of stocks
• Assist with the implementation of procurement policies and procedures
Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or any major related
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to achieve the best outcomes for the company
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
• Proficient in using procurement software (SAP) and data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets
• Familiarity with relevant procurement regulations and best practices
• Willing to be placed at Cikarang (full on-site)
