Responsibilities:
Oversee the supply and delivery of steel, ensuring compliance with specified delivery specifications and conditions, based on customer’s requirements.
Plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to completion, defining scope and deliverables with senior management.
Communicate and manage expectations with stakeholders and team members, resolving conflicts as needed.
Track milestones, manage changes, and prepare contingency plans, ensuring project goals are met.
Develop reports and proposals, defining success criteria and building essential business relationships.
Review and manage steel mill technical deviation, project specification requirement, and steel mill production documents with customer specifications.
Coordinate testing, inspections, and production activities from raw materials to customer delivery.
Source and engage freight forwarder to execute shipment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma Material Science and/or Mechanical Engineering, or Logistics Management
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
Must be willing to travel as required for job execution.
Knowledge of and experience in Project Management, international freights, transport and documents
Technical knowledge and understanding of steel norms, materials and quality standards, will be an advantage
Knowledge of and experience in Letter of Credit arrangements, will be an advantage
Independent, proactive with strong initiative and positive working attitude
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
Possess highest standards of integrity and reliability
Ability to grow in a dynamic working environment
Competency in other PC skills and software applications
