Company Introduction
Our client is a leading Chinese manufacturer of professional condiments. The company specializes in products such as wasabi paste, chicken bouillon, and concentrated fruit drinks, serving both domestic and international markets. As part of its overseas expansion, the company is establishing a new manufacturing facility in Indonesia and is looking for experienced local management talent to support factory setup and daily operations.
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily production operations for the new factory, ensuring production plans are executed efficiently and safely.
Responsible for production scheduling, manpower allocation, line efficiency, and output achievement.
Supervise and manage production workers, warehouse coordination, logistics flow, and related operational activities.
Support the setup of production processes, standard operating procedures, and on-site management systems during the initial factory launch phase.
Ensure production activities comply with local food industry standards, safety requirements, and company quality expectations.
Coordinate closely with the factory management team, quality team, warehouse, maintenance, and supply chain stakeholders.
Identify production bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, cost control, and operational discipline.
Build and train the local production team, helping establish a practical and hands-on factory management culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related fields.
Solid experience in food manufacturing is strongly preferred; candidates from industrial products or general manufacturing backgrounds may also be considered if they have strong factory management experience.
Familiar with Indonesian local food production standards, manufacturing practices, and factory operations.
Experience in production team management, production planning, warehouse coordination, and logistics-related operations.
Able to work in a start-up factory environment with limited existing team support.
Candidates currently in senior supervisor or assistant manager roles who are ready to step up into a manager position are welcome.
Strong problem-solving ability, execution capability, and willingness to be involved in frontline operations.
Language Requirements
Bahasa Indonesia is required.
Proficiency in either Mandarin Chinese or English is required for communication with the Chinese management team.
Reporting Line
This role will report to the Supply Chain leadership team and work closely with the factory head and local operations team.
Expected Onboarding Time
The candidate is expected to be available to onboard by June.
